CHINA Meets ROMANIA este un proiect internațional care dezvoltă progresiv proiectul FUTURE FOLK lansat în 2018 la inițiativa Organizației Alumnus Club Pentru UNESCO, în colaborare cu artista Carmen Emanuela Popa. Încă de la început proiectul și-a dorit o viziune nouă asupra interpretării costumului popular tradițional, punând astfel în discuție revigorarea patrimoniului cultural imaterial din România. Piesele vestimentare semnate de artistă au la baza surse de inspirație din valorile estetice ale costumului popular românesc dar și ale minorităților naționale.
